A logo can be designed in five minutes, but the best logos are rarely rushed.
Your logo is one of the most important investments in your business, as it becomes the foundation for all designs. From your website and signage to packaging, social media and marketing material, your logo helps shape how your business is recognised and remembered.
For this reason, we take a considered and thorough approach to developing your concepts, and generally allow up to four weeks for the design process.
If you are working towards a specific deadline, please let us know and we will always do our best to accommodate your timeline.

Here is a breakdown of the exact files and formats you will receive in your logo design package:
Vector Files
Vector files can be scaled exponentially without losing clarity. Often, you will not be able to open these files without a graphics program, but keep them archived as you will need them at some stage!
EPS (Encapsulated PostScript)
While you will not be able to open this file without a graphics program, they will often be requested by printers and signwriters or for large format designs where a low resolution jpeg is insufficient.PDF (Vector-based)
A highly versatile vector format that you can easily viewed and shared.SVG (Scalable Vector Graphic)
The best vector format for web developers to ensure your logo looks good on modern screens.Rasta Files
Rasta files are pixel based image files designed specifically for screens and web. They can be used for printing if the size and resolution is appropriate. Rasta files can’t be blown up beyond their original size as they will lose clarity and become blurry or pixelated.
PNG FILES (Transparent Background)
Essential for your website, presentations, and digital. Using PNG files with a transparent background ensures your logo doesn't have a clunky white box behind it.JPEG FILES (Solid/White Background)
Jpeg files are best used for emails or documents where a solid background is perfectly fine.Logo Design Variations
A complete logo package will provide folders containing these file types across different colorways to ensure your logo works on any background:
- Full Colour: Your primary logo.
- Monochrome: All black and all white versions
- Portrait, landscape, stacked and/or roundel. This can de dependent on the design as not all concepts lend to a eg. landcape variation
- CMYK, RGB and greyscale optionsBranding Guidelines
A branding guidelines document or Style Guide is a PDF detailing how to correctly use your logo. It should include:
- Colour palette codes like HEX, CMYK, and Pantone (PMS) colours.- Typography: The names of the fonts used and their suggested pairings.
- Clear Space: Rules on how much empty breathing room must surround the logo.
- Logo usage examples

A professional logo package will provide you with all the logo files and formats that you will require for printing and digital requirements including CMYK, RGB, black, landscape, portrait and stacked variations.
Plus! a professional logo designer will provide you with multiple concepts that are custom designed specifically for your business and industry so that you can avoid a cookie-cutter template style logo that is so common with DIY logo builders.
-
Using a quick-fix like a logo your cousin designed in Word or sticking with a poorly designed logo will actually end up costing you in the future. Once your logo is printed on signage, uniforms and stationery it can be a big expense to change it - leading to costs that you could have avoided with future reworks, rebrand and amendments.
-
Your logo is often the first thing your customers will see and can form their decision on whether to use your business. First impressions count.
-
Stand out from the crowd and stay ahead of your competitors with a logo design that is unique and distinctive.
-
Your logo is the first and most important building block of your brand. All future elements of your brand from print material, website and social media will start from your logo and should be consistent and cohesive.
-
Positive feelings are memorable. Associate your brand with a positive memory for your potential customers and build trust from the onset.
-
A well-designed logo shows that your company is professional and well-established. A poorly designed logo will give the opposite impression.
